Në moshën 50 vjeçare ka ndërruar jetë poetesha Lindita Ahmeti. Lajmin e ka kumtuar babai i saj, shkrimtari Xhabir Ahmeti, përmes një postimi në Facebook.
“Lajm i tmerrshëm. E humbëm edhe vajzën tonë të mrekullueshme Linditën para një gjysmë ore”, ka shkruar Ahmeti në orët e para të mëngjesit të 9 prillit.
Lindita Ahmeti ishte lindur në Prizren më 26 prill 1973. Pasi kreu shkollën e mesme në Shkup, studioi filologji klasike në Fakultetin Filologjik në Universitetin e Shkupit. Ka ligjëruar letërsinë antike në Universitetin e Tetovës, ndërsa ka punuar në Institutin e Trashëgimisë Shpirtërore e Kulturore të Shqiptarëve. Ka shkruar poezi në gjuhën shqipe dhe maqedonase që nga fillimi i viteve të ’90-ta. Ka botuar disa vëllime me poezi.
Përndryshe, Lindita është vajza e shkrimtarit dhe profesorit Xhabir Ahmeti dhe motra e aktorit tashmë të ndjerë Luran Ahmeti.
